Job Description:
As an SAP ABAP HANA Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining SAP applications using ABAP programming language and SAP HANA database technology. Your role will involve working closely with functional analysts, other SAP module consultants, and end-users to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements. You will also be expected to provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance within the SAP environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
Customize and optimize existing programs and interfaces.
Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Design and implement technical solutions in SAP ECC and HANA environments.
Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and fix defects.
Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications.
Participate in deployment and release management activities.
Stay updated with SAP technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology
2-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong knowledge of ABAP programming including ABAP Objects, ABAP Data Dictionary, ABAP Reports, ALV, BAPIs, IDOCs and Workflows (RICEFW),etc.
Experience with SAP ECC and HANA platforms.
Knowledge of SAP data dictionary objects and performance tuning techniques.
Understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP Certification in ABAP development.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., PI/PO, CPI).
