Hyperpure by Zomato is a B2B platform for kitchen supplies and an end-to-end restaurant supply chain solution, operating as a one-stop-shop for the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants & Caterers) industry.
We provide a wide range of products - groceries, fruits and vegetables, poultry, meats and seafoods, gourmet and packaged foods, customised packaging and consumables, kitchen cookware, value-add ready-to-serve and ready-to-cook products.


Position Overview: As the Hydroponic Farm Manager at Hyperpure, you will oversee all aspects of our hydroponic farm operations, including the cultivation of fruits and vegetables. Your role will involve managing daily farm activities, optimizing growing conditions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will implement best practices in hydroponic farming, and work closely with other departments to meet production goals and deliver exceptional produce to our customers.


Roles & Responsibilities:



Farm Operations Management: Supervise daily farm activities, including planting, nutrient management, and harvesting. Ensure optimal operation of hydroponic systems and equipment with Experience growing a range of vine, leafy and Exotics crops - Lettuce, Basil, Baby Spinach, Red/Yellow Capsicum, Bok Choy, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Parsley, Kale.


Staff Supervision: Manage and train farm staff, schedule shifts, and coordinate tasks to maintain productivity and high standards for onsite workforce.


Nutrient, Pest and Water Management: Develop and implement nutrient solutions and water schedules tailored to various crops, management of pesticides in the crops and ensuring optimal growth conditions.


Quality Control: Monitor plant health and growth, identifying and addressing issues related to pests, diseases, and nutrient imbalances.


Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee routine maintenance of hydroponic systems and equipment. Schedule and manage repairs as needed.


Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of crop performance, system parameters, and farm activities for analysis and reporting, must have a basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.


Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, and implement best practices for environmental sustainability.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience (3+ years) in hydroponic farming or a similar agricultural management role.
Strong knowledge of hydroponic systems, plant biology, and crop management techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
Proficient in using hydroponic farm management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
